This is a real Lo-Fi recording, direct onto a cassette tape, in a back bedroom in Battersea, London, in 1979. When i was making this album I discovered the tape in a cake tin in the attic. The noisy end is lifted off 'THE BISHOP IS IN THE FRIDGE', by The Patterns (released in 1980), featuring the two other original members of ...and the Native Hipsters - Robert Cubitt and Tom Fawcett. The Patterns released one 7inch record. Original copies of this are available from our website.
